17A - Matching Follow
Always click Save at the bottom of the page in Setup - changes are not saved until the Save button is clicked.
This is an add-on module - if you have not purchased, leave OFF and go to the next step. If you would like to use this feature or want more information contact your CRM.
1. User Matching
- Set to ON if you have purchased and want to use matching.
2. Attendee to Attendee Matching
- Allows for matching attendees to attendees based on attendee demographics.
3. Name of Matcher
- Configure the name - Matcher, MyMatcher, MyMatches, etc.
4. Registration Codes to Disable the Matcher
- This option is used to the disable the matcher when an attendee is associated with certain registration codes.
- The system can be configured to not allow certain reg types to be able to match. For example you may not want to allow Non Exhibiting Manufacturers or Guests to be allowed to use the matching tool.
- Enter the Reg Code for in the New field, click Add (Example - NEM if reg code is for non exhibiting manufacturer)
- You must enter one code at a time, and click ADD.
5. Exhibitor Matcher Description HTML
- Click the More Button to reveal the default text and edit the information if you want to change the help text.
- This is HTML that describes the matcher to the exhibitors only.
- If you would like examples of Exhibitor Matching text descriptions, please reach out to your CRM.
6. Max Exhibitor Answers Per Question
- The max number of answers that an exhibitor can select per demographic question. Leave this blank for no maximum.
- Helps to limit the number of match returns, encouraging users to give more concise and accurate answers.
