12A - Category Follow

Always click Save at the bottom of the page in Setup - changes are not saved until the Save button is clicked.

Exhibitor Product Categories (Categories) can be configured by going to Setup > Forms and editing the Categories form.

1. Categories

• Turning ON will allow the exhibitors to choose product categories defined by the show.

2. Category Name (Singular)

• You can name the Categories something other than the default. Example: Section, Company Classification etc.

3. Category Name (Plural)

• Enter plural of above.

4. Multi-Tiered Categories

• GoExpo supports Primary and Secondary Categories.
• If auto, GoExpo will attempt to automatically detect whether a set of categories is mult-tiered.
  • Example: if the categories are "Sedan - Hard Top" and "Sedan - Soft Top", then "Sedan" is the primary category, and "Hard Top" and "Soft Top"are secondary categories.
    • (Hyphens are used to separate a primary category from a secondary category.)
  • If this option is set to OFF, then GoExpo will assume that there is only one tier of categories.

5. Require Secondary Categories

• If ON, and the categories are mult-tiered, the user must always select a secondary category.
