Always click Save at the bottom of the page in Setup - changes are not saved until the Save button is clicked.
If you have these items turned on in the Upgrades area, you can use the following information to navigate the settings for Products and Product Showcases.
1. Name of Product (Singular)
- Singular name of product. (Example: Product, Display, New Product, etc.)
2. Name of Products (Plural)
- Plural name of products. (Example: Products, Displays, New Products, etc.)
3. Name of Products Tab
- This will be the name in the tab in the Main Menu regarding products.
4. Name of Product Showcase
- This is an additional step up from regular products, and can be set up in the Upgrades area to charge an additional fee, as well as sort them separately and identify them as such in the products menu and products lists.
- Many shows will use this as a Best of Show item and charge exhibitors an entry fee which may include not only the online presence, but on site as well.
- Your CRM can help you with ideas on how to use this major revenue generating option.
- This item will also allow you to assign an icon to the image to show the entry (discussed below).
5. Name of Product Brochure (Singular)
- The system will allow exhibitors to upload brochures or press releases specific to the product image upload. Enter the singular name in this area. (Example: Brochure, Press Release, White Paper, etc.)
6. Name of Product Brochures (Plural)
- The system will allow exhibitors to upload brochures or press releases specific to the product image upload. Enter the plural name in this area. (Example: Brochures, Press Releases, White Papers, etc.)
7. Product Image Letterbox Color
- A letterbox is a border that is added to an image to obtain specific dimensions. For example, when you view a widescreen movie on on a screen that is not a widescreen, a letterbox is added to the top and bottom of the picture. You can turn off the letterbox in GoExpo by leaving this field blank, but for cosmetic reasons we suggest you utilize the letterbox. The default color of white works best in most cases.
8. Product Showcase Icon
- If specified, this icon will be displayed below all products in the showcase. For optimal results, upload a RGB image that is 80 pixels by 80 pixels. No CYMK.
9. Product Print Logo Allowed File Extensions
- The system will allow you to collect a Print Image of the product for use in your print materials that could include a special new products directory.
- If you do not want to use this field or do not want to capture the image for print, you can hide it in the Products Form Page. (link to forms page instruction - when we have one)
10. Hide Showcase Products
- Shows that use the Showcase upgrade will sometimes want to hide those products as they are new, and the exhibitors may not want them displayed until closer to the show.
- Turning this ON will hide the product showcases from the Public and Attendees until it is turned Off. Exhibitors will only see their own products in the product upload area and no other ones.
11. Upgrade HTML
- The HTML that will be displayed to the exhibitor on the "Products & Videos" step of the profile wizard.
